The sentence that caught my eye was, "We played Trishanku with BM Shah". Well, I did too!! I played Buddhijeevi in Trishanku with Shah ji. "Something wrong somewhere, latent idea now exposed.... ". I am just travelling through the memory lane. Every evening during the rehersal breaks, we (Shah ji and I) used to play chess. He always used to beat me at chess, except one time. Trishanku was my last play. We took the show to Mumbai. Banwari Taneja used to play the Yuvak, or student or... well I don't remember everything now, we are talking 1975. Sudhir Ahuja, Sushma Ahuja, Ramesh Kapur (I and Ramesh Kapoor used to work for Punjab National Bank in New Delhi.) Last year I found out by chance, while searching through the net, that Shah ji passed away. It hit me like a rock.

Then I got married, and then moved to United States. Lost all contact with everybody. Between 1980 and 2006, I only went to India twice.

Anyway, I am just rambling on. Didn't mean to bother you. Just old memories took over.

Thanks.
But I agree with you that there is a need of sensible refreshing about how we look at it.
Do you think this situation is India specific?
Are we moe critical towards ourselves.
